New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation (NSO) is a multi-day program designed to welcome and support incoming first-year and transfer students as they join the Cal Lutheran community.

Through a series of engaging activities, workshops, and social events, students become familiar with campus resources, academic expectations, and student life. NSO provides opportunities to connect with peer advisors, meet faculty and staff, explore involvement opportunities, and build relationships with fellow new students—all to foster a sense of belonging and prepare students for a successful start at Cal Lutheran.
